Ochoco Valley Ranch, LLC is a domestic elk
ranch specializing in top quality Rocky
Mountain and Roosevelt bull elk. Our herd of
5-7 year old bulls has 108 animals, with 45
gross scoring over 400 SCI points in 2007.
The most exciting bulls are a potential
WORLD RECORD typical Roosevelt measuring 440
and a typical Rocky at 472, both 6 years of
age. Another Rocky went 461, only 4 years
old!
Located in the Maury Mountains of Central
Oregon, our bulls are raised in large treed
pastures. The natural grass is supplemented
with hay and grain, no processed feed or
hormones of any kind. The average
fall-season live weight is almost 1000 lb,
with the biggest bulls approaching 1300.
These animals have some of the best genetics
in the world, including Iron Bull, Iron Man,
King, Yellow Knife, Ludwig, and more. All
bulls are Gold or Silver registered with the
North American Elk Breeder’s Association. TB
and 5yr CWD-free herd certification.
We have a large stockpile of elk antlers and
buttons for sale. These antlers range in
size from small spikes to giant world record
class racks, both typical and non-typical.
Finished taxidermy is also available. CLICK HERE

The scores shown for 2005 and 2006 are the actual measurements of the antlers for those years, unless noted. The antlers were cut in September each year, with the inside spread recorded, and measured after a drying period of 120 days or more. For 2007 the antlers were measured on the bulls in December, 2007. Many of the antlers were worn or broken by then. The Actual Score is what was measured at that time, while the Estimated Score is what we believe the bull would score with his rack intact.
